Recent overreach by certain organizations has proven they will do it and ask questions later after millions have been affected. And still nothing will happen. If people don't get out and run for office to make these changes. We leave it to people who do want to and we may not agree with. As far as I'm concerned the founders didn't finish the protections in the document well enough which makes the 2nd amendment absolutely useless.

11:54 These are supposed to precision builds??? Holy cow my $400 16" battle rifle does better than that with an 1-8 LPVO and cheap factory ammo. My precision builds do half that with good factory ammo, and even tighter with hand loads. I don't know who build those rifles, but they might wanna try again, and I'm looking at the "precision" ammo that you chose for them while saying this.

The soft approach is nice, and I'd love for it to work, but based on history, we are too far gone for it to work. 50 or 100 years ago, the soft approach would work, when we were not as far gone as we are today. Unfortunately, it's not a matter of "if" the 4th box gets opened but "when". Again, the reference is thousands of years of world history. It doesn't matter how much we don't want it, it's coming. I don't want it, I fought my war. I wanted a peaceful life with a child and a wife and to work serving and being active in my community. They would not allow that. This is about WAYYYY more than their "gun grabber stuff". If that 4th box must be opened, and it will be again, I would 10,000% rather it be in my day, when I am still physically and mentally able to contribute to the cause of freedom. So that the sons and daughters of other men may be free and know peace. I do not have any children. The only son I ever had, they took from me. I still don't want what's coming, I've lived it before, I don't want that here, not in my country, but regardless of what I want, it's coming at some point.

I love the heavy duty dry bags. If you are truly talking about doing serious time outside with no respite. If you get the correct size and thickness dry bag it not only serves it primary purpose of keeping critical gear (clothing and bedding) dry. But it can also be used as a float on water. A pillow. And in my opinion most importantly. You can use the dry bag as a “washing machine”. If you add a little of the soap you are carrying in a hygiene kit (in liquid form or shaved off a bar)… you can get a nice arm workout by agitating and shaking the dry bag filled with some water, dirty clothing, and soap. Works really well when you don’t have access to abundant water or just have enough water for intermittent washing. This was the method we used in Iraq to give weeks old grimy stiff and crunchy disgusting socks a good cleaning in the field. You also should not neglect the capability for a “dry bag” to keep water inside as opposed to outside. If you need to transport serious amounts of water you can fill an entire backpack up with water and carry it back to camp or wherever you need to carry it very easily with a dry bag. Another lighter weight option is just the lowly 55 gallon drum liner in a heavy mil thickness. This sheet of plastic is invaluable in the field. For shelter. Waterproofing. You can dig a pit in the ground and line the pit with a drum liner and if you dig the hold big enough… you can store 55 gallons of water. Enough for a whole community or a centralized “pool” that you can draw from while in camp (say if the nearest source is some miles away and not convenient or practical to keep going back to (and not possible to camp closer to). The 55 gallon drum liner can be cut and worn like a jacket or a poncho as well. If it’s orange or in my opinion a better color for all seasons in the woods bright blue (in the fall in many parts of the country “hunters orange” isn’t the greatest color to stand out in the woods because every leaf is either bright yellow, bright orange, or bright red. White it bad for snow. Black bad for night (however black does have a use in extreme cold where you can “melt snow” on black background easier because black absorbs the electromagnetic radiation from the sun as opposed to white which reflects it. So black is a “warmer” color all else being equal if wearing as a garment for instance but blue is the color in my opinion. It stands out anywhere if it’s the right color blue. The liner it also can serve as an excellent signal panel if brightly colored. The USMC made their dry bags “reversible” as one side is high visibility (like a VS 17 air to ground signal panel) and can be turned inside out if the need ever arises. Great video. Great info. Many thanks.

If hundreds of millions of people were paying $200 to the red coats for a whisper pickle, there is no way in hell they would ever even think about letting go of that cash cow. Hell what little cash they make via that extortion racket seems to be enough for them to not want to let go of it. Any "danger" that can be erased with a $200 bribe was never a danger in the first place, this applies to the entire NFA, not just whisper pickles.

I disagree on the vacuum bottle (double walled for insulation). In cold climates where you are worried about things freezing… especially if you’re expecting to be outside for two weeks or whatever the statement was. No matter if you preheat the bottle with boiling water… it is going to freeze. No matter what you do. The water will be frozen. There are things you can do like putting your water in your sleeping bag (ideally boiling and wrapped in something waterproof and cloth to prevent burns or leaking) to prevent the water from freezing. You can also bury the water bottles in snow (a great insulator because snow is mostly void space or air which doesn’t conduct heat). Burying can prevent water from freezing. Etc etc but bottom line no matter what you do the canteen will freeze rock solid. This isn’t the end of the world. If a plastic Nalgene is frozen or a Stanley vaccum bottle or whatever freezes solid and there is no way to apply heat to the exterior of the bottle. Use a metal cup (a canteen cup works great or a round stainless steel or titanium round cup for a Nalgene works as well). You heat a small amount of water to boiling and dump it into the frozen canteen and then shake and dump back into the cup over the fire. In this way with each filling of once again boiling water… in very short order the canteen will be back to liquid drinkable form. The United States Military used to have a vaccum bottle for their “arctic canteen”. It’s rare surplus to find and is an awkward shape (round with a plastic “cork” for a cap. However this bottle was replaced by the newest version of the arctic canteen. The canteen itself has no double wall. It’s just a straight stainless steel container that you can completely unscrew the plastic lid (same dimensions as a regular USGI canteen and can even have the gas mask cap). The cover for the new arctic canteen is insulated. But the point is the military recognized that given enough time (days or even hours at extreme cold)… the canteens will freeze. Don’t fight it or try to avoid it. But you do then require a container that can be completely buried in the coal of a campfire or put directly on a stove or other burner. Freezing and expansion are considered by never filling the newer canteens above a certain line because the frozen water expands and will burst or pop the lids off almost any container (besides the standard Nalgene plastic and caps seems to be able to be “popped” by ice without damage to the actual bottle as I have frozen completely filled Nalgene bottles many many many times and it hasn’t rendered them unserviceable. Anyways after having grown up in Northern Michigan and no stranger to extreme cold and snow. These are my thoughts on a water container for extreme cold. Emulate the military and get a stainless steel Nalgene and cup. The top can be removed and the whole container stuck into the fire for char cloth or water boiling or to thaw. Another cheap option is just the standard USGI canteen. The metal cup is really the key thing that needs to be included for extreme cold. That and a good supply of fuel in the form of a saw and wood. Gel fuel. Gasoline. Diesel. Etc and a good stove like the MSR XGK liquid multifuel burner which is like a jet engine but is exactly the stove for extreme cold when you are going to be boiling water all the time for cooking and heating (as described to fill containers up with boiling water so you can “transport” that fuel/energy in the form of heat stored in the water bottle. Cheers.
